The Northern Line Extension enables 20,000 new homes and 25,000 new jobs for the surrounding area and it was successfully delivered into operational Service in September 2021. In this presentation, Thomas Stankowski will give a summary of the new signalling system now in use on the Northern Line Extension and give an insight into some of the challenges and successes of delivering the first extension of the London Underground network in over 20 years.
Thomas Stankowski has over 9 years of experience in the Railway industry and is a Chartered Member of the Institution of Railway Signal Engineers and a Member of the Institution of Engineering and Technology. For the last 4 years he has been the Lead Project Engineer responsible for the delivery of the Signalling system for the Northern Line Extension.
